Character

One selected profile, three focused views. Use the arrows to move through the workspace without opening another navigation bar.

Seven-trait profile
The selected character's seven recorded values in one overview.
Profile fingerprint
Compact signature of the same seven-dimensional profile.
Most distinctive traits
Which trait values contribute most to this character standing apart from the population.
Profile description
A compact narrative summary generated only from the recorded trait values.

Standardized position
Z-scores relative to the current population.
Percentile position
Rank-like position of each trait within the current population.
Profile distinctiveness
How unusual the selected character's overall seven-trait profile is relative to the current population.
Profile map
PCA projection showing the selected character among all current profiles.
Closest profiles
Nearest profiles in the same seven-dimensional trait space.
All relative measures depend on the current database. They can change when characters are added, removed or edited.

Compatible quiz reconstruction
Generate one Q1–Q66 answer pattern that reproduces the selected seven-trait profile as closely as the solved quiz engine allows.
This is one mathematically compatible reconstruction. It is not evidence of the answers historically given by the character.
Multi-character workspace
Population

Aggregate views of the current character database, organized from broad overview to structure and deeper statistical diagnostics.

All characters are included. Group membership is shown visually inside the plots rather than used as a filter.
Trait distributions
The full population spread across all seven dimensions. This is the primary descriptive view of the current database.
Robust population summary
Median and interquartile range summarize typical location and spread without being dominated by extreme profiles.
Population details
Numerical summaries are available when you need exact values, without occupying the main visual flow.

Trait relationship
Choose two dimensions to inspect their relationship across characters.
Trait pair explorer
Each point is one character. This replaces the former duplicate correlation-detail view.
Profile neighborhood map
PCA projection with each character connected to its nearest profile neighbor.
Character × trait matrix
A compact heatmap for spotting profile blocks, contrasts and recurring patterns.

Distribution diagnostics
Choose one trait for the detailed distribution checks below.
Observed distribution
Histogram/density and normal-reference view for the selected trait.
Normal Q–Q plot
A diagnostic view of departures from an approximately normal pattern.
Bootstrap mean uncertainty
Exploratory confidence intervals for current trait means.
Multivariate structure
PCA summarizes how much variation is captured by each component; detailed loadings stay available on demand.

Quiz Response Data

Explore voluntarily contributed quiz submissions. No character names are stored in this database.

Anonymous submissions Opt-in only Descriptive, not representative
Delete stored research submission
Research deletions use the same staged approach as Character management: queue them during the session, then apply them when you are ready or on the next app start.

Dataset snapshot
How much anonymous quiz data has been collected.

Question selector

Dataset editor
Manage Characters

Rename characters, adjust existing values, or add new characters. All changes are saved persistently on the server.

Character edits are staged first. They are shown immediately in this management area, while the active Explorer dataset remains unchanged until the next app start or until you apply them manually.

Pending character changes
Queued edits are stored safely in SQLite and applied atomically on the next app start.

Edit existing character
Change one trait at a time.

Add character
Create a new seven-trait profile.

Current dataset
Database-backed character dataset with staged edits. Pending changes are stored immediately but applied to the active Explorer only on restart or when requested.
